Coach and Staff Biographies

Natalie Frenette
Head Coach - Pisiquid Canoe Club

Natalie started paddling at Pisiquid Canoe Club in the early 1990s. She spent her first few years in the sport simply having fun and enjoying the affiliation that it provided. Natalie is pleased to re-join the Pisiquid Canoe Club after 18 years away. Natalie has 5 years coaching experience over the past 11 years, along with her Bachelors of Kinesiology from Acadia University and her level 1 coaching certification. She has been coaching younger athletes across Canada at a high performance level over the past decade.

Natalie has been involved in the canoe kayak sport both as a coach as well as an athlete for most of her life. Natalie has trained at a high performance level, throughout North America, at a young age, with some of Canada's best trained athletes. Natalie has a strong understanding of the fundamentals of coaching the canoe kayak sport. Although this is only Natalie's first year coaching at Pisiquid she has already made a big impact on the club as a Pisiquid Board Member and starting an off-season training group. Natalie is a great addition to Pisiquid Canoe Club.
